The Design Process

At Kellie Haslam Designs, the goal is to optimize the design process, ensuring it is both effective and efficient, while minimizing stress and, yes, even adding an element of enjoyment. I firmly believe that a well-defined and streamlined process is the key to delivering an exceptional client experience. The design journey unfolds through three distinct phases.

PHASE 1: Initiation

The initiation phase marks your introduction to the Kellie Haslam Designs experience. Each project commences with a complimentary coffee chat, followed by an in-person consultation. This is typically a two-hour on-site meeting and is an essential step. This consultation serves as a crucial foundation, enabling Kellie to share her insights, understand your project's scope, and address any inquiries you may have. This initial interaction provides the springboard for Kellie to craft a detailed proposal for the subsequent phase of the design process.

PHASE 2: Design

The design journey commences with a pivotal kick-off meeting, where we establish the project's aesthetic direction. Kellie proceeds to create comprehensive design concepts for each space, encompassing floor plans, furniture layouts, inspirational imagery, and directional ideas for finishes and furnishings. A concise mini-presentation ensures that we remain aligned with your vision.

Incorporating your feedback, Kellie completes the detailed design. Our final deliverable is a comprehensive presentation package, featuring elevations, renderings, and a tactile array of finish and fabric samples, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the design during the presentation.

PHASE 3: Implementation

In any renovation or decorating project, numerous components are in motion. In this phase, Kellie expertly manages all of them from start to finish, including order management, secure storage, efficient delivery, and precision installation, thereby breathing life into your envisioned design. The journey culminates in an exhilarating revelation of your revitalized space.
